Hi,
We occasionally rent our family accommodation. It is a duplex on the top floor, consisting of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining room and a kitchen (total 110 m²), as well as a green terrace (60 m²). It is located in a common ownership with a garden and an open pool in the summer. The Metro stop J Jaurès (line B) is 80 meters away. To go to the city center, the quays of the Rhone are a 10-minute walk, you can also rent by bike at the bottom of the building.

The space
The apartment is spacious, very quiet (does not look onto the street) and in a vegetal environment while being in town (Gerland). Access to the city center (Presqu'ile) is pleasant (banks of the Rhone) and fast by any means (less than 30 mn on foot to Perrache or the confluence, 15 mn by bike or by Metro). You can easily buy food in the neighborhood (restaurants, pizzeria, supermarket open Sunday morning, city markets) and/or cook in the apartment, well equipped.

The district of Gerland is located to the south east of the city centre. It is bordered by the Rhone, with a pedestrian promenade and bicycles. You can then access the whole city by staying on the quays of the Rhone. By Metro, one uses the line that connects to the part dieu railway station (15 minutes, take direction gare Oullins from the part dieu). Gerland is a former industrial district reconverted to housing, pharmaceutic industry and offices. There is in particular the Gerland stadium and the Halle Tony Garnier. The Museum of the confluence is accessible by crossing a footbridge. There are a lot of restaurants, shops, a brewery with concerts (Ninkasi). Next to the building there is a supermarket open on Sunday morning and evening until 8 pm. You can also go into the parc de Gerland for a promenade.
