Kolonaki, literally "Little Column", is a neighbor-hood in Central Athens, Greece. It is located on the southern slopes of Lycabettus hill. Its name derives from the two meter column (located in Kolonaki Square) that defined the area even before a single house had been built there.
Kolonaki is a wealthy and upmarket district. A place where you can do shopping with an aristocratic air, and with admittedly high pric-es. As one of the capital's leading shopping areas, it includes a number of high-end bou-tiques from young adult to casual fashion to prestigious haute couture from Greek and in-ternational designers. Here is where most ex-pensive fashion houses have their stores and it is a fitting location for their luxurious products. There are also a lot of Greek designers’ ateliers you can visit and pop up fashion stores. One of its main shopping streets, Voukourestiou Street, is now known for its jewelry.

Created in May 2019, Philoxenia In Athens is a project originated from an idea of 4 siblings, Dora, Rania, Maria & Yannis, and includes 4 apartments in different areas of Athens. Glyfada | South Athens Kolonaki | Central Athens Petralona | Central Athens Thissio | Downtown Athens Our goal is to help visitors of Athens to find a place for short-stay with low cost and to give them the choice to select area or apartment style depending on their preferences and needs. All apartments are fully renovated and equipped and have been constructed with taste, love and care. Their size is approximately 40m2 and can accommodate maximum 4 persons. Our motto is “Where Simplicity Meets Hospitality” and expresses our desire and perception our guests to feel comfortable and relaxed like home.
