Pini is a little hamlet just above the village of Volada. It is said by many to be the most beautiful area of Karpathos. With lush green surroundings and a great climate at an altitude of 600 meters it is paradise for the hikers. The vineyard here grows amazingly and fresh water streams at the local water source for people to fill up their drinking bottle all year round. Pini offers great views of Volada, Pigadia, Achata and Ammopi. The peace and calmness of the area lets you enjoy the local wildlife; goats are running around and amazing predator birds are flying making an appearance every few minutes. You have to experience Pini when you visit Karpathos.

Travel Details from the host -> Karpathos, a little Greek island is our home for over 10 years , but originally we are Dutch (Renate) and Swedish (Thom). Our baby girl born in Greece October '21 is named Freyja. We live with our black Labrador Retriever Jax and our rescue cat Oscar. We own a hiking company on Karpathos where we also hosts creative workshops and agricultural tours such as beekeeping and olive picking. It’s called Art and Walk Karpathos; go ahead and give it an online search ! We also are scuba diving and freediving instructors with a big passion for the ocean. Traveling to us means to learn more about local cultures, cuisines, traditions, nature, and actually anything wonderful a country has to offer.
