The Retreat is a stone built one bedroom cozy house with a sitting area, large veranda and private courtyard. It is situated just 5 minutes walk from the beautiful, secluded Valmas beach and about 15 minutes walk from Chora, the main town of Ios.

Daily service and house keeping:

Our friendly staff will provide daily service including cleaning and making the bed, they will make sure the villas have fresh towels for you every other day and will change bed linens for you bi-weekly.

Welcome refreshments:

Complimentary refreshments and a light welcome meal including fruit, homemade cake, tea, coffee, snacks will be waiting for you in the house. We will also stock the fridge with mineral water, wine, beer and soft drinks so you can start relaxing as soon as you arrive.

The main town, the port, Valmas beach and Kolitsani beach are connected though footpaths and can be easily reached by foot. To explore the whole island, many of our guests rent motorbikes, cars or use taxis.

On The Rocks offers a remote and peaceful location while being close to the main town of Ios with numerous gift shops, beautiful narrow little streets and romantic squares. The town is also famous for its vivid nightlife, great cocktail bars and restaurants. There are numerous bars that stay open till the early hours of the morning, many beautiful restaurants and tavernas that will cater for all tastes and budgets.
