Neighborbood Overview:

Ideally located in the lively, trendy and multi-cultural area of Belleville Village, with popular and fancy restaurants, shops, open-air markets and numerous artists' workshops.

The neighborhood has a very interesting history. Belleville was an old place of festivities in the 18th and 19th centuries: with famous cabarets and “guinguettes”. Then it became a famous place for popular music (for example, the iconic French singer Édith Piaf was born and grew up in the building in front of my apartment. A commemorative plaque can be found at number 72 of rue de Belleville).

My flat is located near two parks: the "Parc de Belleville" (my favorite view on Paris) and the "Parc des Buttes Chaumont", both 5 minutes by walk. There you can have beautiful walks and find the perfect spot for reading and a picnic. It’s also situated near the Canal St Martin neighborhood, a trendy area with many cinemas, bistrots and péniches along the water.
