Syntagma square and the Greek parliament are only 15 minutes of pleasant walk, crossing the beautiful garden of Zappeion. Mets is the ideal neighbourhood to explore the city but also allow you to escape from the crazyness of Athens and chill at night in one of the many coffess/bar located around the flat. You will also find one of the best Taverna serving traditional Greek food only 5mn away. For the beach lovers, you can go to the beach using the tram, it will take you around 25mn or via car/taxi by taking Vouliagmenis Avenue which is the direct road connecting Athens center with the southern suburb, Glyfada.
