A small quaint chalet completely on it's own overlooking olive groves and the Mediterranean Sea !

The space
Centrally located on the island of Crete , is a private entrance Studio Chalet with an incredible view of olive groves , the Mediterranean Sea and Dia Island . Fully equipped kitchenette , single bed , a double fold-out sofa that includes weekly linens and a fantastic large deck that looks out into the Mediterranean Sea . There is also a TV , Wi-fi and outdoor furniture ! By car or bus it's just minutes to the city center of Heraklion , beaches and airport . We can reserve a motorbike or car where we get great deals for our guests and have it right when you arrive , just let us know . Lots of parking for the Chalet if you rent a car . You can catch the city bus that comes in front of the house twice a day , Monday thru Friday or walk down to the next village of Karteros ( 20 min.walk ) where the bus comes every 30 minutes . The house is situated in the quiet neighborhood of Prasas with lots of free parking . A small cafe within walking distance for appetizers and drinks . By car you are less than 5 minutes to the beaches and 10 minutes to the city center of Heraklion too !

Travel Details from the host -> I am an American woman living on the fabulous Island of Crete for the past 20 years ! Born and raised in Seattle , Washington by Italian parents who are both from Naples , Italy . I have spent many summers in Naples and attended two years of schooling there . I worked as a general manager for many years in my family's chain of Italian restaurants Vince's Italian Pizzeria in Seattle and also opened and ran two design stores ! I am happily married to Emmanuel , who was born and raised in Heraklion , Crete . He later moved to Canada and then to the U.S. where he became an engineer for Boeing for nearly 20 years in Seattle . We both love Crete and we are thrilled to show people all her magic and natural wonders . We enjoy sharing the seasonal fruits from our garden , our yearly fresh olive oil , and our homemade wine . We also have olive oil soap made from our olive oil for all our guests :-)
