Your evening is spent at an open air theater show where numerous lively Brazilian rhythms can be enjoyed. Experience the diverse musical culture while listening to Carimbó of the Amazon, the Samba of Rio de Janeiro, the Frevo of Pernambuco and the Forró of the North East. It's like visiting the whole of Brazil in only one night! Other dances include the Maculelê, which presented together with a Repentista or Embolador de Coco (coconut), is one of the main highlights of the night. Some dances derive themselves from early settlers and are still practiced today! Spend a night learning about the culture and music of Brazil. While both entertaining and informative, this theater show is a performance to remember! The Live Show takes place in the historic building, once hosted a prison in the city and today the old cells are occupied by various handicrafts and an art gallery. Some shops are open and the restaurant offers bar service and the best of regional and contemporary cuisine.
