The house is located 70km south of Heraklion in Kastri community where are all the basic facilities for peacefull vacations. 5 minutes away from the beach by car or 10 minutes on foot. It has a wonderful view of the libyan sea and the ancient place of "Kastrocharako" that gave it's name to the community.
At the beach there are mini markets and traditional greek taverns for fresh fish and traditional cretan dishes - all in good price.
The space
It is about a house that consists of three bed rooms (2 twin/double beds and two single beds), a large living room with a fire place that can heat the whole house during the winter. Full equipped kitchen a bath room and a big porch.

In Kastri there are not organised beaches such as "Skouros", "Armenopetra", "Listis", "Dermatos" which are isolated and full of trees, ready to offer quiet and undisturbed vacations.
Next to the Kastri port there are popular/more crowded beaches as well. For those who love hiking and climbing there are several gorges to visit such as "Annapodaris gorge" in Dermatos, "Portela Gorge" or "Richtra", "Kavoussi gorge", "Troula gorge" in Tsoutsouros where you can hike with the proper equipment.
Also you can visit the old churches that date back to the 14th century full of agiographies on the walls. "St. Dimitrios" (which is stated to be build with goat milk),
"St. Theodoros" and "St. George" (vagionitis). Right there is the famous spring "Flega", that used to provide the whole community with fresh water.
In "Listis Beach" there are several caves where is rumured t
