The space
A tranquil studio situated in the city center of Thessaloniki with a double bed and a sofa easily transformed in a double bed, accommodates up to 4 people.The street where the apartment is located is quiet and safe, even in the center of the city. Furthermore, you may find a laundry, banks, bakeries, local specialties such as handmade traditional Greek pies, coffee shops, patisseries, Greek traditional taverns in Athonos square, modern restaurants, open and closed food markets,S/M etc.

The space
The special thing about this studio (30m2) is that it constituted an architect’s workplace for more than 30 years, something that inspired me to restore and reuse some parts of furniture, elements, a wall-paper, a washbasin, the mosaic floor and combine them with future interior design techniques and modern materials. It really gave me the opportunity to travel the Thessaloniki of the 70s, 80s and today. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, especially during the night. It is close to the old city, the Roman agora and the port. In a circle of about 1klm are the majorities of the museum and the ancient and roman monuments of the city

Nearby there is the famous bar and restaurant area of Bit Pazar, Valaoritou, Ladadika and also markets, pastry shops and coffee shops.

The traditional open markets "Athonos" "Modiano", "kapani" & "Vlali" is at 2-7 min walking from the house.

Within 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment you will find dozens of bars, cafes and restaurants so maybe better to follow your instinct and choose on your own or you can ask me to recommend you some close to your need and your taste.

Travel Details from the host -> My main profession is interior and exterior design. I’m exceptionally interested though in renovating, restoring and reusing all kind of things in a creative manner. Usually the space, the origin, the story, clear-precise lines and geometry characterize the result of my projects, artworks and handworks. Travelling and experiencing real life is always a challenge for me. I decided to enter the airbnb community with the desire to offer innovative hosting alternatives while developing and exploring my passion for design and share it with people from all over the world.
