The space
This farm house, built in the 19th century, in a very unique architectural design which we often meet in the Cyclades islands. Ellinika is an area 500m above sea level, protected by “NATURA 2000”, a European network. Thus, people’s habits and the way of life have still, in many aspects, remained the same. Also, Ellinika is, according to the archeologists, the only place on the island that has been constantly inhabited since the ancient times.
The access to the house is from the ancient foot path (No 3) which leads to the ruins of the ancient city of Karthea. So, if you love walking, staying in our house is a very good idea.
