Travel Guide Tour. Vacation Tour.

Morro do Careca is a military area of environmental preservation where land access has been prohibited for over 20 years. So our boat is the only one that makes the route around it to the beach of turtles, where the Tamar project does nest conservation, so you can't even walk there. The route lasts one hour and 15 minutes, where 20 minutes are to get to Praia das Tartarugas, 20 minutes to stop for photos and information, 15 minutes to make a panoramic tour contemplating the view of one of the largest hotel chains in the northeast, looking for the dolphins and turtles and a 20-minute stop on a floating dive in front of Morro do Careca in the middle of the sea with a panoramic view of the Ponta Negra waterfront

Tour Itinerary presented by Jangada Show

The tour consists of getting around the Morro Do Careca, which is a military area, preventing access by land. The area belongs to AERONÁUTICA, which has the base of launches BARREIRA DO INFERNO in that region, therefore any person who is caught walking there, is detained by military invasion. The destination of the tour takes us to the beach of the turtles, an area of environmental preservation, where the Tamar project works, helping in the process of spawning turtles and other activities to avoid extinction of the species. In this way, there is also detention for environmental crime, for anyone caught walking on the beach of the turtles. Only 35 fishermen are allowed to carry out the artisanal fishing activity in the area, even so, when they are caught by the military, they are obliged to show their identification portfolios provided by the Tamar project itself in company with the Aeronautical Base in question.
