The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, but not at all extinct. Guests feel very different about the noise level of the street aswell. Some enjoy the quiet area, as they experience it, others talk about a "noisy street". In my experience both cases can be true, although I would deffinitely tend to say that the area in general is very calm an safe. The only exception can be someone who thinks they really need to get on the gas in the middle of the night in order to feel better.

Beneath the flat is an Arab cultural club run by an Egyptian, sometimes attended by large groups of playing and hookah smoking men of all ages. When you pass by, you get a breath of this incomparable decelerated idyll, and come back to the apartment quite relaxed.
