Our home is tucked away on a peaceful lane in the eastern side of Chania’s old town in the historic quarter of Splantzia. It is ideal for solo travelers, couples, families, or groups of friends looking for a serene sanctuary away from the bustling crowds.

You will find it in the historic Turkish quarter of Splantzia, right next to the Dominican temple of St. Nicholas and Splantzia Square (aka 'Plateia 1821').

Our apartment is located on the first floor of a building that once constituted part of the Dominican Monastery (built during Venetian rule) and assumed its present form, more or less, during the 1930s. I bought it in 2007 and supervised its renovation, making sure that as many aspects as possible of the 1930s structure were preserved. I kept the mosaic floors and all the kitchen floor tiles that remained intact, some of which I used as decoration on the bathroom and kitchen walls.
