Neighborbood Overview:

Aside from a cheese shop (best cheese maker in France 2000), a winery, a rotisserie, a bucher, a sea-food market, and several bakeries (typically french, alsacien), as well as plenty of local restaurants and a pedestrian shopping street, literally around the corner, I highly recommend the well-known fresh food market on Wednesdays and Sundays. The Grenelle market has been around since 1860 and is well worth the while.

Hello, I'm a Russian American living in Paris for the past 17 years. I know my city inside out, so if you need any tips please feel free to ask where the non-tourists go. I quickly understand if people want advice or just some privacy during their vacation or business trips. I (Website hidden by Airbnb) According to (Hidden by Airbnb) maps, I am a 12 minute walk away from the eiffel tower, but the reason I live where I do is because it has fresh markets on Tuesdays and Sundays, it is calm, safe and genuinly french, meaning close to two great wine shops, a bio cheese shop, a bucher an alsace bakery and two traditional ones, a fresh fruit market and restaurants with terraces facing the street so you can judge passersby while the waiter gets all arrogant on you.
