The settlement of Chora is the capital of Mykonos located on the west side of the island. It is a typical Cycladic village with whitewashed houses and colorful wooden doors, windows and balconies, labyrinthine alleys and charming chapels. Matogianni is the main street of Chora. It is worth visiting the beautiful church complex of Panagia Paraportiani ( 0.4 km) which has been recognized as a national cultural monument, the Windmills of the island ( 0.6 km) , the romantic neighborhood of Little Venice ( 0.4 km), the Fabrica square ( 0,6 km) and the archeological museum of Mykonos (0.6 km).
