This beautiful home is close to Heraklion and art and culture and yet only approx. 2km from beautiful beaches, bars and restaurants. Built approx. 10 years ago it is in a gated area of just four homes. The views are stunning and the private pool and garden to the back of the property provides a perfect area for swimming and sunbathing. The veranda across the front is a lovely seating area as well. 3 of 4 of the bedrooms have balconies and we have two mobile Air Conditioning Units.

The space
The living area is open plan, with a large lounge area, a dining area and a kitchen with a dishwasher, cooker and fridge freezer. The large open fireplace is a lovely feature in the wintertime although there are fuelled radiators throughout. There is a downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs therefore are four large bedrooms, and a bathroom with a washing machine also. Please note that the pool is approx. 1.3 meters deep.

The beaches are beautiful in the area and downtown Gouves is a few minutes away by car if you require some nightlife. Heraklion is a mere 20 minutes away with its venetian harbour and the Palace of Knossos a must for any visitor. Agios Nicholas is lovely for a visit with great shops and restaurants around the lake and harbour side. The main waterpark on the island at Anapoli is fabulous for children of all ages as is the Crete Aquarium both of which are only 15 minutes drive from our home.
