This area is an experience in itself. Vesterbro have a lot of green parks as Frederiksberg garden and Søndermarken. On the one side Frederiksberg is the rich neighborhood and on the other side is Istedgade and Sydhavnen by the waterfront.
The classical things to see is the Zoo, the gardens and Tivoli. But there is so much more around Vesterbro like the Enghave square, the museum ' Cisternerne' and The Meat Town is very close which holds great markets on Saturdays and has many nice restaurants everyday. It is also a good place for party.
Fisketorvet is a shopping center nearby with all the popular shops, and if the weather is with you, the public bath at the canals could be attractive. Another center is Fisketorvet where you find many of the Danish brands.

Travel Details from the host -> Hey I'm a Danish girl from 1991 that loves to travel and meet new people. I'm doing my master at the IT University of Copenhagen. I work in a microbrew bar called Oelsnedkeren and has a great interest for special beers. I love exploring different types of food, wine, music and literature which will always be a subject when traveling. Living in Copenhagen is great because I can bike wherever I want and there is so much going on all the time. I would recommend it for people that like at city with lots of personality and especially foodies will love it (like me!). I originally come from Fünen (Fyn) which is the middle island of Denmark. My family lives there and I enjoy going to the country side and relax in the nature. As a person I'm very outgoing and friendly. I both have a great interest in being social and having my own space. For me it's all about the situation and see my self as a respectful person. I'm easy going and find it an ease to smile.
