Pagkalochori in Rethymno is a village at an altitude of about 80 metres, 1.5km far from the sea and 20min far from Rethymno town. The closest villages to Pagkalochori are Sfakaki, Skaleta, Stavromenos, Loutra, Pigi, Asteri, Arkadi. Athina villa is in the middle of the island so you can easily visit the eastern and western part of the island. The house is close enough to the beaches of the area between two historical monasteries, Arkadi and Arsani monastery, which are open to the public.
