Airport is also 10min away and the picturesque old town of Chania about 25min. Moreover, there are three beautiful monasteries Agia Triada, Gouverneto and Korakies. Akrotiri also offers walking and hiking paths in the unspoiled nature but most of all spectacular views to the sea and the mountains.
