in area-Heraklion, Aghia Triada, GreeceIt is 5' walk to the city centre, although very quiet area, church, old buildings, village atmosphere.
Stone house is in an old traditional, central and emerging neibourhood of Iraklio with old houses in a process of restoration, near the see side, where live old local families (and myself), students and immigrants. The area is completely safe, and very quiet. Near stone house there is the Archaelogical Administration of Crete, the European Schools for EU nationals, Municipal Police, Municipal Administrations and Parking, the Museum of Natural History, the commercial road... Due to the average low buldings, population density is low (although near the centre), so free car parking is not difficul to find.
